Quick Start

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your LeadSponsor workspace with OAuth — you sign in with your LeadSponsor account and choose a workspace. There's no key to copy or paste.

Clicking copies the MCP URL (https://mcp.leadsponsor.io/mcp) and opens the connector settings — just paste it. Sign-in is OAuth, no API key.

The MCP endpoint is:

Claude — claude.ai (web & Desktop)​

  1. Open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector (in claude.ai the connectors live under Customize, not Settings).
  2. Paste the URL https://mcp.leadsponsor.io/mcp. Leave the OAuth Client ID / Secret fields empty — the server registers Claude automatically (Dynamic Client Registration).
  3. Click Add. Claude opens LeadSponsor login (Google or email / password), then asks which workspace to authorize.
  4. The LeadSponsor tools appear in the tool selector. To switch workspace later, reconnect the connector.

Custom connectors require a paid Claude plan. Some tools render interactive widgets (e.g. an interactive contacts table) directly in claude.ai.

ChatGPT — Developer mode​

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and enable Developer mode.
  2. Click Create app. Name: LeadSponsor. URL: https://mcp.leadsponsor.io/mcp.
  3. Complete the LeadSponsor login and workspace choice — the same flow as Claude.
  4. Enable the connector inside a chat to use the tools.

On Plus / Pro, ChatGPT custom MCP connectors are read-only; full, write-capable tools require a Business / Enterprise / Edu workspace.

Test it​

Ask this — if it returns your data, you're connected:

"Using LeadSponsor, what are my top recommendations this week?"

The assistant picks the right tool on its own, and your workspace is resolved automatically from your sign-in — you never pass it. Prefixing with "Using LeadSponsor…" nudges it to use the tools rather than its general knowledge.

Switching workspace​

Each connection is scoped to one workspace. To use a different one, remove the connector and add it again, then pick the other workspace at sign-in.
